Developing rural education and letting rural children receive fair and high-quality education is an important way to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty. Rural teachers are the cornerstone of rural education and the most important educational resource, which directly affects the improvement of rural teaching quality. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has always insisted on giving priority to education.
Education has developed in an all-round way, and rural education has been significantly strengthened. But at the same time, the shortage of rural teachers has not been fundamentally solved, and the recruitment of rural teachers has been cold for many years, which is universal in western ethnic areas. Recently, Guangming Daily's research group conducted a survey of relevant cities in Guangxi, analyzed the reasons for the cold recruitment of rural education from multiple levels and angles, and made in-depth thinking on solving this problem.
"Re-recruitment", a special term in college students' voluntary recruitment, has frequently appeared in the recruitment notices of grassroots rural teachers in western ethnic areas in recent years.
Not long ago, nine districts and cities in Guangxi, including Baise, Hechi, Liuzhou, Hezhou, Laibin and Chongzuo, recruited a group of rural teachers. Hundreds of jobs in each city were left unattended, with a total of 2,230 people. In some places, the conditions for "re-recruitment" have been lowered, such as not setting professional restrictions, relaxing academic qualifications, not setting written examinations, and signing contracts directly. At the same time, he promised to increase his income and treatment, but there are still a large number of positions that no one has applied for.
