Science education is being reformed, which provides an opportunity for children educators to actively integrate science teaching into preschool education, thus promoting the reform of science education and maintaining the advantages of children's education.
Teaching and caring are intertwined, which is very important for young learners. If our goal is to cultivate a capable and participatory citizen, body and emotion cannot be ignored. In other words, the method of preschool education/children's education attaches importance to cognitive development and physical and social emotional development.
Preschool education is to meet the multiple needs of children of this age. PreK science education is consistent with the whole child approach, that is, it supports the development of scientific knowledge (that is, cognitive development) and its non-cognitive development related to the motivation of learning science and the identity of scientists.
