Xi Jiaotong University offers two levels of majors, namely, business administration, accounting, e-commerce, finance, economics, law, civil engineering, computer science and technology, electrical engineering and automation, pharmacy and so on. Gao Qi has majors in energy and power engineering, civil engineering, nursing, electrical engineering and automation, business administration, etc. Xi Jiaotong University is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education and one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in China. Its predecessor was Nanyang Public School, which was founded in Shanghai, 1896. 192 1 renamed jiaotong university. 1956, the State Council decided to move Jiaotong University to Xi 'an. 1959 was named Xi jiaotong university and listed as a national key university. Xi Jiaotong University is the first batch of key construction projects in the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan. It was also one of the first schools to enter the national "2 1 1" and "985" projects, and was identified by the state as a school with the goal of building a world-renowned high-level university. In the overall strategy of promoting the "double-first-class" construction initiated by the state, our school has been selected into the list of Class A construction universities of 36 first-class universities in China. The selected disciplines for the "double-first-class" construction include mechanics, mechanical engineering, material science and engineering, power engineering and engineering thermophysics, electrical engineering, information and communication engineering, management science and engineering, business administration and so on.
