Shandong Education Entrance Examination Institute is a provincial-level education entrance examination institute formed by the merger of the former office of Shandong Admissions Committee, the office of Shandong Higher Education Self-study Examination Committee and the provincial university science and technology development service center. Founded in March 2005, the College is a deputy-department-level institution affiliated to the Education Department of Shandong Province, and is responsible for general colleges and universities, adult colleges and universities, postgraduate entrance examinations and related services.

Development history:
People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education Examination Center National Higher Education Self-taught Examination Steering Committee Office, Ministry of Education Self-taught Examination Office. The examination center of the Ministry of Education is a directly affiliated institution designated by the Ministry of Education to undertake special duties and tasks of education examination and endowed with some administrative functions.
1987 the examination management center of the state education commission was established.
1990, renamed as the examination center of the State Education Commission.
1994, the examination center of the state education commission and the office of higher education self-study examination of the state education commission (established in 1983) merged, and the merged institution was called the examination center of the state education commission, retaining the brand of the office of self-study examination of the state education commission.
From 65438 to 0998, the State Education Commission was renamed the Ministry of Education, and the examination center of the State Education Commission was renamed the examination center of the Ministry of Education accordingly.
On February 8, 2022, with the approval of the Central Editorial Board, the Education Examinations Center of the People's Republic of China was renamed the Education Examinations Institute of the Ministry of Education.
