Subject features: Mainly devoted to the research of theories and methods such as integrated intelligent system, network traffic measurement, dynamic scheduling of network resources, quality of service (QoS), information security and biological information processing. Develop multimedia wireless transmission technology and multimedia terminal protocol stack software for the third generation mobile communication system. , internationally renowned in rough set theory research. It has undertaken many national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the National 863 Plan, the National Top 973 Special Project, the National Natural Science Foundation and the Climbing Plan. He presided over two domestic conferences (CRSSC200 1 and CRSSC2003) and two international academic conferences (RSFDGrC2003 and IFKT2008). It has the Ministry of Information Industry and Chongqing Key Laboratory of Computer Network and Communication, and is committed to platform construction and open construction. Supported by the Ministry of Finance, it has a key laboratory of information security technology jointly established by the central and local governments. This paper mainly studies computer network security performance evaluation technology, security audit technology, network intrusion detection technology and so on.

Academic achievements: publishing more than 20 textbooks and monographs; More than 390 papers have been published, including more than 100 papers included in SCI and EI. In the past three years, we have completed national scientific research projects 15, more than 20 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and more than 20 horizontal projects. The disposable funds are more than 30 million yuan, including more than 9 million yuan for national projects. Subject features: 1) Pay equal attention to computer software theory and application research. Mainly engaged in software components and architecture, geographic information system, database technology and other aspects of research and development. Subject characteristics

The research focuses on computer network, network parallel computing and resource management, embedded system and its application. Actively organize forces, plan projects, and strive for national and local government funding plans. At the same time, it also relies on the research funds of the school to carry out pre-research in key directions, laying the foundation for further projects.

From June 2006 to June 2008, it won the National Natural Science Foundation Project 1, the National Standardization Project 1, a number of provincial and ministerial projects and horizontal projects, and the research funding was 5.04 million yuan. Won the second prize and the third prize of 1 Chongqing science and technology progress. A total of 64 papers 1 were published (including 45 retrieved by SCI, EI and ISTP for 56 times), 2 monographs 1, 2 translations, 4 teaching materials, 1 authorized invention patent1,and 5 invention patents that have been applied for and made public.

This project has successfully won two key scientific research base construction projects, "3G military and civilian terminal equipment mobilization center" and "Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Mobile Communication Education", and has become an important force in the key laboratory of computer communication and network in Chongqing universities. Professor Günther Greiner from Nuremberg University in Germany was invited to visit and give lectures.

At the invitation of Xie, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of our university and vice president of the School of Computer Science, Professor Günther Greiner from Nuremberg University of Germany came to our school on June 23rd 10 to attend the talent training exchange meeting in the field of "Computer Engineering", and gave an on-the-spot introduction of his master's degree in Germany. Professor Günther Greiner received his bachelor's degree and doctor's degree in mathematics from the University of Tubingen in Germany in 1978 and 1980 respectively. Since 1990, he has been a professor of computer science and the head of the computer image research group at Genn-Nuremberg University in Herun. Since 2000, he has been rated as a professor of computer science and transferred to the Engineering College to teach. At present, he is the head of the doctoral program of "Three-dimensional image analysis and synthesis", the coordinator of international students in computational engineering (bachelor, master and doctor), and the chairman of the cooperative research center of "Pattern analysis and virtualization of complex scenes and sensor data".

2. Professor Li Bo from Beihang University was invited to visit and give lectures in our school.
