Life is the most precious wealth in life. While most people are rushing for their lives, working hard for their studies and fighting for the future, some people have ended their lives. Most of these people are college students with bright future. What made them give up their lives like this? Investigate its reason, I think there are mainly the following points:
(1) family.
Nowadays, many families are only children. Most contemporary college students live under the protection of their parents, and some even grow up under the care of their parents. Of course, their frustration ability is weak and their psychological endurance is poor. It is precisely because they are only children that parents have high expectations for their children, give them the best everywhere, and tell them to get good grades and do well in exams. It is this way of education that makes this high expectation become the biggest psychological pressure for children, and children are often in negative emotions such as tension and anxiety. Once they feel that they can't meet their parents' expectations, they will feel that they are useless, fail their parents or can't stand their parents' blame. Some people may choose to commit suicide.
(2) school.
School is an important position for college students to carry out life education. Life is precious, but? Education is a cause to publicize life and enhance its value. It carries the best expectations and wishes of mankind and leads the educated to a better life? . The rising tuition fees and daily living expenses in colleges and universities have put some students with financial difficulties under great pressure. If you are laughed at by those students with rich families, it will cause imbalance in your heart and even commit suicide. The second is employment pressure. At present, the difficulty in finding jobs has brought great pressure to college students. Most students can treat it rationally, but a few students can't accept the fact, can't face the gap between ideal and reality, and can't accept the grim reality of unemployment as soon as they graduate, so they choose extreme measures.

In view of these phenomena, we should strengthen college students' life education from the following aspects:

In addition, parents should set an example, cherish and care for life, consciously guide children to understand life phenomena, establish a correct outlook on life, cultivate children's healthy and good living habits, and then learn to respect life, care for life and accept others. Furthermore, parents should respect their children's self-esteem and cultivate their spirit of overcoming setbacks. Only in this way can college students not shrink back when they encounter difficulties, overcome them with a positive attitude and reduce the phenomenon of suicide when they encounter setbacks.
(2) School education is the main position of college students' life education.
School is an important place for students to acquire wisdom and cultivate sentiment, and schools should play a leading role in life education.
First of all, we should enrich the content of life education in school ideological and political education. (1) Strengthen the education of college students' survival consciousness. The education of survival consciousness is actually the education of cherishing life. As the first level of life education, it is very important. A person's life is only once for everyone, and it can't be redeemed if it is lost. Therefore, for everyone, maintaining life is the most natural and inalienable right. To guide college students to fully affirm and respect human life, any behavior that hurts themselves and others' lives is a blasphemy and trampling on human values and lives. Advocating the existence and significance of life value is the internal basis for implementing life education. (2) Strengthen the education of college students' life values. Value is the foundation and basis of human existence. The loss and disintegration of value will inevitably bring people mental distress, loss of meaning and collapse of faith. The value of life is the unity of people's internal value and external value. Intrinsic value education is the education of the value of life itself. Only as a concrete life exists, can individuals talk about its value and realization. Therefore, everyone's life is sacred, unique and unrepeatable, and it has irreplaceable value in itself. However, some college students do not cherish life, which in a sense reflects that they do not attach importance to the value of their own existence, do not realize that life itself is valuable, and it is easy to dispose of and give up their own lives. Through life education, let them realize that everyone has the responsibility, the right and the ability to realize their own life value. External value education refers to the education that individuals meet the needs of others and society through creative labor. A single person has no external value or only potential value. Only when individuals meet the needs of others through creative labor can their external values be presented, and they will have a sense of accomplishment and meaning in life. Therefore, life education should purposefully and systematically provide students with more opportunities and places for practical activities, encourage them to go out of school and go to society, and create material wealth for society by participating in labor practices such as production and technological inventions, so as to gain a sense of joy, accomplishment and value in serving the people and society, and enable college students to maximize their life value.
Secondly, in the process of ideological and political education, life education is infiltrated and educational methods are innovated. Looking back on the past, our previous ideological and political education teaching process and practice process were rigid and politicized, which made students uninterested and bored in ideological and political education and had little effect. Grasping the education in this period will have an important impact on their outlook on life. Without effective theoretical edification and practical exercise, under the influence of some negative factors, when they encounter pressure from family, school and society, they will be at a loss, their beliefs will be shaken, and their thoughts will split or even arise. Therefore, only by closely linking education with emotion, practice and life can ideological and political theory courses be truly internalized.
(3) A good social environment is an important guarantee for college students' life education.
Life education must also strive for extensive and powerful social support. The present situation of college students' outlook on life requires the government and relevant departments to formulate corresponding rules and regulations and relevant laws and policies, so as to provide a good external environment guarantee for the in-depth, lasting and effective development of life education. The whole society should actively and positively guide students and pay attention to restraining the negative inducing factors in the social environment. All kinds of news media should actively, positively and steadily publicize the urgency and necessity of developing life education for college students in the whole society, and guide and help college students to understand the value of life, love themselves, love life and love life with correct public opinion guidance.
