How to use cad paper space? How to use paper space in CAD?
On model space and graphic space in CAD;

1, two different working environments (called "model space" and "paper space"), in which objects in drawings can be used.

By default, your work begins with an infinite three-dimensional drawing area called model space. You must first determine whether a unit represents millimeters, decimeters, inches, feet or some convenient unit. Then, draw with the ratio of 1: 1.

2. To prepare the drawing for printing, please switch to paper space. Here, you can set different layouts with title bars and comments; On each layout, you can create layout viewports that display different views of model space. In the layout viewport, you can scale the model space view relative to paper space. Units in paper space represent the actual distance on a piece of paper, in millimeters or inches, depending on how you configure the page setup.

You can access model space from the Model tab and paper space from the Layout tab.

As shown, there are two spaces:
