Color and Education in Children's Art
At present, art education mostly equates it with skill training, and prematurely emphasizes the imitation and reproduction of nature, which has certain limitations in developing children's artistic potential. Therefore, many educators believe that art education should focus on the appreciation of people and strengthen the proportion of color teaching, so that children can master color and let their imagination fly, and perceive and express beauty from a unique perspective. Just like many senior educators in the international children's art world have come to the conclusion after long-term research: in art education, children should choose their own themes, creatively make materials, describe them with their heart and construct them with their imagination.

First, when observing cognitive color.

Because children are young, their attention is not easy to concentrate, and they are easily influenced by the surrounding environmental conditions. Teachers can try to use morning activities for art education, because the air and light in the classroom, as well as the children's emotions and attention are at their best.

When you know the three primary colors, you can know red, yellow and blue one by one in three times. Always prepare adjusted colors and many color cards. Let the children observe the color in the glass in bright sunshine, tell them the name of the color, and then let the children say what the color looks like according to their own ideas. At this time, children will express their feelings enthusiastically. For example, when they perceive red, they will say, "Like the sun." ; "Like an apple." ; "Like a fire." ; "Like this (the red shoes she wears)." ..... Next, the teacher can let the children look for red things in the space around us. Finally, teachers and children will share red cards together, and they will find a place to "hide" their color cards like treasures. After children accurately master the three primary colors, teachers can use the activity of mixing water to let children know orange, purple and green. At this time, according to children's cognition and operation ability of color, it is determined to present several color changes at a time. For example, when showing it to two or three-year-old children, the teacher can only adjust one color at a time, so that the children can clearly and accurately perceive it. After a period of time, most children can find the color accurately according to the instructions and say more than five colors correctly.

Second, feel the colors in life.

Autumn is coming, take the children to observe the leaves and grass, and see their colors and dynamics. On a clear day, they look so quiet that even the fallen leaves dance lightly to the earth; On windy days, looking through the window, the grass trembled in the wind, the leaves danced wildly with the wind and fell to the ground, the air was dusty, and sometimes it even felt dark; In late autumn, I took my children to the kindergarten to buy winter storage vegetables. I felt that autumn was the harvest season and winter was coming. In the middle of winter, take the children to see snowflakes in the snow, print footprints in the snow, attack the castle and feel the fun and charm of winter. Perhaps children can't fully understand the teacher's description, but they will feel the beauty endowed by nature with their heart under the influence of the situation. In a color exercise, the teacher selected four short essays and color cards about the four seasons. Please close your eyes and listen to the prose with music, and then choose a color card according to your feelings. When they put together the selected color cards of the same season, you will feel the freshness of spring, the heat of summer, the maturity of autumn and the purity of winter immediately. Practice has proved that children can completely enter the magical art world from the color world.

Third, create color in practice.

Children's uncertain and bold creation and performance sometimes have to impress adults. For example, provide children with different shapes of drawing paper, let them choose colors according to their own wishes, and then tell everyone what they are drawing; After understanding the three primary colors, organize children to make color cards in time; Understand complementary colors, organize children to mix water in time, and ask children engaged in this activity to make form cards for their own activities; Use the activity of color mixing water to let children perceive the depth of color and let them understand that the real color becomes darker with black and lighter with white; Increase pen games and graphic books to provide more writing opportunities for children: in spring, print small flowers with paper balls; Draw loofah with string in summer; In early autumn, bare tree trunks are drawn on rice paper. Everyone can choose their own colors and draw with their handprints freely. After a while, trees will become lush; In late autumn, around the three-dimensional hut and bare trees, according to your own ideas, carefully stick the fallen leaves on various trees; A "Late Autumn Courtyard" came into being; Point out a string of candied haws with your fingers in winter. Interesting activities make children feel that we can express our world in many ways.
