1. The Department for the Blind of Zhengzhou Special Education School mainly recruits school-age students with visual impairment in Zhengzhou.

2. Students must have a disability certificate or proof of eye disease diagnosis and vision test in hospitals above the district (county) level (stamped with the official seal of the hospital).

3. Visually impaired students generally enter primary school at the age of 8- 10, junior high school at the age of 16 and senior high school at the age of 22.
