The goal of preschool education is a specific goal according to the unified educational goal and the physical and mental development level of preschool children.

According to the educational objectives stipulated in the Education Law, the needs of preschool children's physical and mental development and the trend of social development, the goal of preschool education for children aged 3-6 in China is fully stated in the Regulations on Kindergarten Work, that is, "to educate preschool children in all aspects of body, intelligence, morality and beauty to promote their harmonious physical and mental development." Article 5 of the Regulations on Kindergarten Work clearly puts forward the main goal of kindergarten care and education, that is, the meaning of all-round development education for preschool children includes the following aspects:

(1) sports goals

Promote children's normal physical development and coordinated development of skills, enhance physical fitness, and cultivate good living habits, hygiene habits and interest in participating in sports activities.

(2) the goal of intellectual education

Develop children's intelligence, cultivate children's basic ability of using senses correctly and using language to communicate, enhance children's understanding of the environment, cultivate children's beneficial interest and desire for knowledge, and cultivate children's preliminary practical ability.

(3) moral education objectives

Germinate children's feelings of loving their hometown, motherland, collective, labor and science, and cultivate good moral behaviors and habits such as honesty, self-confidence, knowledge, friendliness, courage, caring for public property, overcoming difficulties, courtesy and observing discipline, as well as flexible and cheerful personality.

(4) the goal of aesthetic education

Cultivate children's initial interests and feelings and the ability to express beauty.

The above four aspects constitute the improvement of children's overall quality, which embodies the specifications and development direction of preschool education in China.

(B) a correct understanding of the goals of preschool education in China

(1) Handle the relationship between physical education, intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education.

Physical education, intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education are the organic components of preschool children's all-round development education. They undertake relatively independent tasks and play different roles in the all-round development of education. Physical education mainly points to the process of children's physical development, and its main task is to protect children's life and health, promote the normal growth and development of children's bodies, and enhance their physique; Intellectual education mainly points to children's cognitive development process, and its main task is to enhance children's understanding of the surrounding environment and develop children's cognitive ability, that is, intelligence; Moral education mainly points to children's social development process, and its main task is to cultivate children's moral quality and form good social behavior and skills; Aesthetic education mainly points to the development process of children's aesthetic ability, and its main task is to cultivate and develop children's aesthetic feeling. In all-round development education, physical education, intellectual education, moral education and aesthetic education are relatively independent in tasks and functions, but they are closely related, interact and promote each other.

(2) Handle the relationship between all-round development and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.

Quality education is determined by the educational purpose of our country. For preschool children, implementing all-round development education does not mean implementing the same standard education for all children. The physical and mental development of preschool children has age and individual differences. Preschool children of the same age have similarities in physical and mental development characteristics, but there are also obvious individual differences. Therefore, according to the potential of each preschool child, we should help him develop physically, intellectually, morally and aesthetically, and achieve "all-round development" through "focusing on everything". The all-round development of education is to promote the full display of children's personal potential and social value, which is the fundamental purpose of the all-round development of education.

(3) Handle the relationship between all-round development and subject development.

In the field of preschool education, the development of children's subjectivity has been paid more and more attention. Therefore, how to correctly understand the relationship between subject development and all-round development has become an important issue that cannot be ignored.

There is no contradiction between subjective development and all-round development, which together constitute the whole of human development. Man's all-round development is a structured system, which consists of physical quality, intellectual quality, moral quality and aesthetic quality, and man's subjectivity is the core of this system. The development of subjectivity interacts with the development of body, intelligence, morality and beauty. The better a person's subjectivity develops, the better his physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic development will be.

(3) the realization way:

Various activities in daily life in kindergartens are the basic way to comprehensively educate preschool children and finally realize the goal of preschool education. The goal of preschool education is achieved through the daily education work of every preschool teacher. In the process of physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic education for preschool children and the implementation of preschool education goals, we should pay attention to the following two issues:

(1) Combination of planning and flexibility

The effective implementation of preschool education goals needs the organic combination of planning and flexibility of kindergarten education.

(2) Combination of unified requirements and personalized teaching.

Unified educational requirements must be combined with teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, so as to ensure that the educational goals are implemented for every preschool child and that every preschool child can get proper development at the original level.
