Main responsibilities:

First, the implementation of the party and the state's educational principles, policies and regulations; To implement the relevant provincial and local education laws and regulations; To study and draft county-wide educational rules and regulations, and organize their implementation.

Two, study and formulate the county education development education planning, overall planning and guidance of education system reform.

Third, study and formulate all kinds of education development plans in the county, determine the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and guide the implementation of the coordination plan.

Four, comprehensive management of the county's general education, vocational education, adult education, etc., to guide and coordinate the education work of various departments, responsible for education evaluation.

Five, to assist the government to raise education funds, cooperate with relevant departments to manage education funds, education infrastructure investment, education aid and education loans. Supervise the implementation of the education subsidy policy.

Six, responsible for the employment distribution of high and secondary normal college graduates.

Seven, guide and standardize the ideological and political work, moral education, sports, health, art and national defense education of schools at all levels in the county.
