Xi University of Architecture and Technology is one of the "Old Eight Schools of Architecture" in China, with good strength in architecture, civil engineering, environmental science and engineering. In the fourth discipline evaluation, five disciplines of Xi University of Architecture and Technology were rated as "B+", which shows that the discipline strength is similar to that of Xi University of Technology and northwest university of politics and law. There are 5 key construction universities in Shaanxi Province, including Northwest University, Shaanxi Normal University, xidian university, Chang 'an University and the Fourth Military Medical University. The above five universities can be said to have their own characteristics: the arts and sciences of Northwest University and Shaanxi Normal University, the engineering of xidian university and Chang 'an University, and the medicine of the Fourth Military Medical University. , has a high influence in the country.
Northwest A&F University, also located in Shaanxi Province, is a key construction university of the 985 Project directly under the Ministry of Education. The discipline of agriculture and forestry is unique, and its strength is beyond doubt. However, compared with the other two 985 engineering universities, the overall strength of Northwest A&F University is slightly inferior. Therefore, Northwest A&F University and five other 2 1 1 colleges are classified as the second grade.
