Minle County belongs to Zhangye City, Gansu Province, located at the northern foot of Qilian Mountain and the middle part of Hexi Corridor. It is a "crossroads" connecting Gansu and Qinghai provinces, and has been the "throat" of the southern line of the eastern section of the Silk Road since ancient times.

It is a water conservation area in Qilian Mountain, and a green ecological barrier for the sustainable utilization and sustainable supply of black river water resources. The total area is 3687 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 10 towns and 1 0 urban community management committees, with Han, Hui, Tibetan, Yugur and other ethnic groups 14, with a total population of 247,000.
