If an employee stops working due to illness or non-work-related injury and recovers within six months, the length of service can be calculated. After more than six months of medical treatment, you will not be counted. The calculation of continuous length of service should be determined by the organization according to the consistent records or organizational conclusions in my file, not a form you fill out when you retire.
