By May, 2022, Lanzhou University of Technology had 5 national scientific research bases, 6 academic innovation and intelligence introduction programs of universities 1, 6 scientific research bases of the Ministry of Education, 4 key laboratories of Gansu Province, 0 provincial collaborative innovation centers 1, 7 provincial engineering technology research centers 1, 2 strategic alliances of industrial technology innovation in Gansu Province, and provincial humanities bases of universities/KLOC.

First of all, we have the College of Materials Science and Engineering, and there are several powerful scientific research institutions below: Advanced Titanium Alloy Aeroengine Materials and Thermal Expansion Composites Laboratory, State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials Processing Technology and Application, and so on.
