Because these Hong Kong schools determine the pre-admission list based on comprehensive factors such as students' application materials, applied majors, college entrance examination results, professional applications this year and interview performance. Oral English interview is also a key step. I suggest that students who apply for Hong Kong schools should have intensive oral English training for about 2 weeks immediately after the college entrance examination.

The admission level of HKU and HKUST is similar to that of Beiqing, and it is best to get a score of 1.30 in English, but even if it is achieved, there will be a pass in English interview, and the final admission will be decided by the students' personal situation, college entrance examination results and interview.

The admission methods of Hong Kong Polytechnic, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University and Hong Kong Institute of Education are similar to those of Hong Kong University above, with the admission scores decreasing in turn, but at least one line is required. If the English score is above 120, the scores of several schools behind Hong Kong Baptist University can be reduced to 1 10. Among them, the Hong Kong Polytechnic does not arrange interviews.

Other Hong Kong schools, such as The Open University of Hong Kong, can apply for the college entrance examination with two or more scores, and there is no minimum requirement for English subjects. However, due to English teaching after entering school, low English scores will have a great impact on students' enrollment and future study.
