Although there is only one pedagogy class every week, I still benefit a lot and learn a lot from pedagogy. Here, I would like to thank the teacher for teaching us the course Pedagogy. I think the gains are really beyond words. In fact, we started to study pedagogy last year, and never took it seriously before, thinking it was another theoretical course as boring as Mao Jue. However, this year, I completely changed my previous thoughts. First, the teacher's class is very interesting and attractive. In class, you not only gave us many examples of great philosophers, sages and great educators, but also told us many real-life cases. Many examples you cited are not only of great help to us in learning pedagogy, but also of inspiration to ourselves. Second, you will also interact with us and guide and inspire us with questions. Through the interaction and discussion between classmates, our classroom becomes relaxed and democratic, and at the same time, our learning and thinking become active. Through your class, your explanation of education and pedagogy and many examples close to life, I found that "education" is not a distant topic; Pedagogy is not a boring theoretical course.
I still clearly remember the first time I opened the book pedagogy this semester. At that time, I thought the contents in the book were particularly boring. Later, I found that I misunderstood pedagogy. Now, the gains I mentioned at the beginning are unspeakable. Because I really learned a lot of knowledge in the course of pedagogy, which not only relieved my understanding that pedagogy is a boring theoretical course, but also enriched my understanding of education and pedagogy.
I still remember when the teacher told us the section "The Essence of Education", you gave us several different definitions. What impressed me most was Einstein's definition of education: education is what remains after all the education you received is forgotten. Through the study of the essence of "education", I have broadened my thinking, and no longer think that the word "education" is empty and unfathomable.
Through the study of pedagogy, I also deeply like pedagogy. I am interested in many topics, such as the differences in educational significance between China and the West caused by the differences in cultural traditions. The teacher gave us examples to illustrate their differences. The teacher vividly compared China's indoctrination education to a wooden bucket pouring water into a cup: the teacher is a wooden bucket, the students are cups, the teacher actively indoctrinates, and the students passively accept it; More interestingly, in western education, teachers use "midwifery" as the image metaphor of western guided education: teachers are midwives, students are pregnant women, and the fetus born by pregnant women is the inner potential of students. Through the teacher's "midwifery", students can learn and think actively, so as to explore their own potential and talents. Through the metaphor of teacher image, I deeply understand the essential difference between Chinese and western education.
From a historical point of view, I also benefited a lot from listening to the teacher's class. Through your introduction to the chapter "The Emergence and Development of Education", I understand the five stages of human social education: primitive society, slave society, feudal society, capitalist society and socialist society, and the slow development history of education. Speaking of the educational history of agricultural society, I am very proud of the "six arts" education in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the sages of our country put forward such excellent educational ideas at that time. Besides understanding the development of China's educational history, the teacher also introduced some typical foreign educational contents to us. One of them is the "Spartan education" in ancient Greece. The purpose of their education at that time was only to train qualified soldiers. It is this kind of education that is also of progressive significance to our education. Looking at the recent military training for freshmen in the school, I can't help but think of the "Spartan education" in ancient Greece. I was also impressed by the secular and feudal "knight education" in the west. Its education is also very special. Education is divided into three stages, of which the second stage is the most curious: escort. Not only to help the man fight, but also to serve the man's life, and to regard the woman as the object of love! Through such a special way of education, the knight's military quality and gentlemanly demeanor are cultivated. There are also "general education" in Athens and ancient Greece, and so on. It is true that different historical periods, different countries, different cultures, different educational purposes, different contents, different educational methods and organizational forms. Pedagogy really opened my eyes to all kinds of education in history and enriched my knowledge and vision.
In the chapter "Teachers and Students", I gained a lot. Through the teacher's explanation and demonstration of teacher's occupation, teacher's role, teacher's quality, students' essential attributes and how to deal with the relationship between teachers and students, I found that it is not easy to be a teacher, a good teacher and an excellent class teacher, but there is so much knowledge in it. What impressed me deeply was that when the teacher talked about this chapter, he gave us some examples of dealing with the relationship between teachers and students. Through these examples, I found that being a teacher is inseparable from "heart". To be a good teacher, you must be a teacher, a leader, a mentor and a friend wholeheartedly. When teachers were teaching "teacher-centered theory" and "student-centered theory", I also got great enlightenment: I hope I can try my best to deal with the relationship between students as the subject and object of education in the future and give full play to my position as both a guide and a dependent of students.
At the same time, it also gave me great enlightenment. The teacher introduced the advantages and disadvantages of these two courses in the chapter of "Course". After listening to the class, I have never forgotten this question. Each has its own advantages, but it also has its own shortcomings, so I am thinking about what to do when I become a teacher in the future, how to balance subject classes and activity classes, and how to keep up with the new curriculum standards. Although I haven't taken up my post yet, I began to think about these problems before I took up my post through the course of pedagogy and the careful explanation of Teacher Liu, which I think is very beneficial to my future development.
When the teacher talked about the curriculum reform and important transformation of basic education in China, I also had a deeper understanding of "exam-oriented education" and "quality education". Through the understanding of these two concepts, I have also strengthened my recognition and recognition of quality education. I also made up my mind that if I want to be a teacher in the future, I must be a teacher who trains most talents.
