Legal basis: Article 5 of the Teachers Law. The administrative department of education in the State Council is in charge of teachers' work throughout the country. Twenty-second schools or other educational institutions shall assess teachers' political ideology, professional level, work attitude and work performance. The administrative department of education shall guide and supervise the assessment of teachers.
