The right to education is a basic right of citizens. The Constitution recognizes and guarantees citizens' right to education. In our country, the Constitution recognizes that citizens have the right and obligation to receive education, which means that citizens have the right to acquire cultural and scientific knowledge and constantly improve their ideological awareness and moral level. Every citizen must receive education according to legal requirements.

It also stipulates that the state shall train teenagers, teenagers and children to develop morally, intellectually and physically. In order to fully guarantee citizens to enjoy this right, since the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), China has established a set of education system suitable for China's national conditions.

Including: (1) preschool education; (2) Full-time schooling at all levels; (3) Staff education; (4) special education; (5) TV broadcasting, correspondence education, etc. In addition, the method of self-taught examination in colleges and universities has been implemented, which further guarantees citizens' right to education.

The right to education includes two basic elements:

First, all citizens have the right to go to school and receive education; Second, the state provides educational facilities, trains teachers and creates necessary opportunities and material conditions for citizens to receive education. If a person has no opportunity to receive education and can't go to school, he loses the right to receive education; If there is no material guarantee or legal guarantee of education, citizens' right to education may also fail.

The right to education is a basic human right. At the beginning of life, people's survival ability is not superior to that of animals, but the reason why people are human lies in their potential different from animals, and one of the most important aspects is education.
