Eligible students can apply for a train ticket discount card, and buy a hard seat ticket with a student ID card and a train ticket discount card, and they can enjoy half price. The fare for students to buy a sleeper is half of the original sleeper price MINUS the hard seat fare. The first-class seat of the high-speed train EMU does not enjoy the student ticket, and the second-class seat enjoys 75% of the published fare. The student discount card can be used up to four times a year. Qualification binding is required once a year.
Unqualified students can buy tickets at official website Railway 12306 or 12306APP first, but they must go to the self-service ticket vending machine to change tickets before boarding. After the ticket exchange is successful, their qualifications will be automatically bound, and then they can directly brush their ID cards to get on the bus. Note: Ticket exchange refers to brushing my ID card and student ID card at the ticket vending machine/ticket pick-up machine at the station to print out the reimbursement voucher.
Precautions for use:
The discount card shall be properly kept and shall not be damaged or lent to others. Once the discount card is attached, do not tear it off, fold it, soak it in water or store it in a humid place for a long time, and avoid placing it near other contactless IC cards (such as second-generation ID cards and bank cards) or computers and mobile phones with high magnetic fields. Students need to affix their official seals after filling in the information, and they can enjoy the discount of ticket purchase with the discount card.
When you take an electronic ticket from the station ticket vending machine, generally, the "Internet ticket collection" only prints a white information sheet, not a paper ticket, but clicking "Take the reimbursement voucher" will print the ticket directly. Every academic year, students must exchange tickets for the first time.
