School nature

Dalian Naval Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, affiliated to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy, mainly undertakes the undergraduate education of naval surface ship growth commanding officers and surveying and mapping and marine growth technical officers. It is the key construction institution of the "2 1 10 Project" of the whole army and the key construction institution of postgraduate education.

The predecessor of the college is the Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval School. 1952, the school was renamed as "First Naval School". 1957, the school was renamed as "Naval Command School". 1986, named "Dalian Naval Academy".
