Why sacrifice to buddhas and bodhisattvas--the meaning expressed by buddhas and bodhisattvas.
Gratitude is the principle of being a man, and ingratitude will have three consequences. Second, "Si Qi". The Buddha reminded me to learn from him. If he can become a Buddha, I will become a Buddha. When you see the Buddha statue, you will definitely think of the Buddha's intentions and wishes, and how the Buddha lived, worked and treated people. I learn from him in everything. Buddha and Bodhisattva either sit or stand on the lotus, which represents self-nature. Self-nature is omnipotent and pure, not really sitting or standing on the lotus, but an expression. Usually called Sakyamuni Buddha, it is enshrined in the Hall of the Great Hero in the temple. Supporting the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni, the teacher, is the most rewarding. He is the founder of Buddha education. Translated into Chinese, Sakyamuni means kindness and teaches us to be kind to all sentient beings. [Muny] means clean, telling us that our hearts are not clean, we are always thinking about it, and we are obsessed with it, and we will be reduced to six roads and three roads, and there will never be a full stop. Therefore, the Buddha is merciful and tells us to be clean to ourselves and merciful to others. Amitabha Buddha in Nanwu: The pinyin pronunciation is: nā mā mā mí tuó fó "Nanwu", which is a transliteration of Sanskrit Namas, pronounced Namo, and also translated as "Namo" and "Namo". It means respect, courtesy, conversion, death and praise; "Amitabha" is read from Sanskrit Amitābha, "A" is translated as nothing, "Amitabha" is translated as quantity, and "Buddha" is translated as wisdom. Together, "infinite wisdom, infinite consciousness." "Amitabha Buddha", the name of Wan Dehong, has infinite meaning, infinite life, infinite light, infinite purity, infinite solemnity, infinite wisdom and even infinite. The name contains all the methods, and there is no method in the void dharma world that does not include it. Better than dimensionless method. Not only all the dharma that Sakyamuni Buddha said in his life, but also all the infinite dharma declared by other buddhas in the ten directions and three realms are inseparable from the statement that there is no Amitabha in the south. Buddha is conscious but not confused, so he should feel but not confused, and understand the meaning of the name. As soon as he heard the name, he reminded us that I am merciful to people. Am I pure and equal to myself? The benefits of supporting Buddha statues in this way are endless, so it reminds us all the time. You must know the name, image and meaning of each Buddha statue. If you don't understand, it's totally superstition. You didn't learn from Buddha and Bodhisattva. You burn incense and sacrifice to those people every day and kowtow to them every day. Why? Suck up to him, please him, thinking that he will bless you. You are doing evil, and you don't know it every day. According to the Buddhist scriptures, superstitious people are a pity. Can you get money for burning incense? You can't. The Buddhist scriptures say, "In Buddhism, everything is needed". The key is to understand the truth, and the pursuit of wealth should be as reasonable as the law. Burning incense to ashes is selfless dedication, which is what Buddhism calls "giving." This enlightens us: to seek wealth and happiness in life, we must first give up wealth and plant happiness. Wealth is the cause, wealth is the fruit. Giving up is the cause, the result, and giving up. Therefore, a person's blessings are made by himself, not given to you by Buddha and Bodhisattva. Buddhists often say: "Life is made by yourself, and happiness is found by yourself." Did you make a fortune by burning incense? This is purely "with the heart of ordinary people and the belly of all buddhas." Buddhists and bodhisattvas are deeply saddened. How can they care about your big incense and small incense like ordinary people and give them wealth respectively? Of course not. The study of Mahayana Buddhism is represented by four great bodhisattvas: the first is the "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva" in Jiuhua Mountain, the second is the "Guanyin Bodhisattva" in Putuo Mountain, the third is the "Manjusri Bodhisattva" in Wutai Mountain and the fourth is the "Samantabhadra Bodhisattva" in Emei Mountain. The four great bodhisattvas represent the whole Buddhism. In a narrow sense, each Bodhisattva represents its own style and characteristics, represents great wishes, Guanyin represents great compassion, Manjusri represents great wisdom, and Pu Xian represents great merits. The earth is the heart and Tibet is the treasure. There is infinite wisdom, infinite virtue and infinite talent in people's hearts. How do they develop them? Filial piety, filial piety to adoptive parents and respect for teachers are the only way to tap the inner treasure. Therefore, the Tibetan Bodhisattva shows filial piety, and the Tibetan Bodhisattva Wishing Sutra is called the Buddhist Filial Piety Sutra. Guanyin Bodhisattva: It represents compassion and compassion. Guanyin is to carry forward Tibet's filial piety to teachers and sentient beings. The Mahayana precept [Men are my father and women are my mother] extends filial piety to all sentient beings, not verbally, but truly into the realm. All living beings are my teachers, good people are my teachers, and evil people are my teachers. We should treat all sentient beings with kindness, kindness and kindness, regardless of land, race and each other, live in harmony, treat each other as equals, respect each other, care for each other and never stop. Let yourself really live in a world of gratitude. Manjusri Bodhisattva: stands for reason and wisdom. Compassion and filial piety are based on rationality, and we must be rational and rational instead of emotional. This is to teach us not to be emotional, but to use wisdom and reason in our daily life. Bodhisattva Samantabhadra: Teach us to practice. Filial piety, respect for teachers, compassion, and reasoning are fully used in life, in work, and in dealing with people. This is Pu Xian. Therefore, supporting the image of Buddha and Bodhisattva is not for anything else, but to remind ourselves at all times. The four great bodhisattvas (Tibetan Bodhisattva, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva) expressed this idea, and they represented the complete Mahayana Buddhism. Therefore, we should learn filial piety from the Bodhisattva Dizang, and then learn great compassion from the Bodhisattva Guanyin. Manjusri Bodhisattva should learn great wisdom and great wishes. In this way, learning Buddhism will not be superstitious!
