The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "National University of Science and Technology") is an innovative university with "erudition and dedication" as its motto and the integration of science and education.

University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, formerly the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences, was founded in 1978. It is the first graduate school approved by the State Council, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and has trained the first doctor of science, the first doctor of engineering, the first female doctor and the first doctor with double degrees in New China.

20 12 June, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences as the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 20 14, the National Science and Technology University began to recruit undergraduates, forming a higher education system covering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.
