Dalian University of Science and Technology is a private science and engineering university located in Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China, and a provincial full-time ordinary university. Dalian Institute of Science and Technology was established as the Information Engineering College of Dalian Railway Institute in 2002, and was changed to an independent college in 2003. 20 1 1 was an independent private college and renamed Dalian Institute of Science and Technology. 20 16 was approved as a pilot university for application-oriented transformation and development in Liaoning province.
