Chapter II Classification and Application of Teacher Qualification

Article 4 Teachers' qualifications are divided into:

(1) Kindergarten teacher qualification;

(2) Primary school teacher qualification;

(three) the qualifications of teachers in junior middle schools and the qualifications of teachers in cultural courses and professional courses in junior vocational schools (hereinafter referred to as the qualifications of teachers in junior middle schools);

(4) Senior middle school teacher qualification;

(five) the qualifications of teachers in secondary specialized schools, technical schools, vocational high schools and professional courses (hereinafter referred to as the qualifications of teachers in secondary vocational schools);

(7) Qualifications of teachers in institutions of higher learning.

The qualifications of adult education teachers are classified according to the level of adult education and the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 5 A citizen who has obtained the qualification of a teacher may serve as a teacher in various schools and other educational institutions below the corresponding level; However, citizens who have obtained the qualification of internship instructors in secondary vocational schools can only serve as internship instructors in secondary specialized schools, technical schools, vocational high schools or junior vocational schools.

Teachers' qualifications in senior middle schools and secondary vocational schools are universal.
