I was shocked to hear and witness many similar educational facts. Are these children really hopeless? Do these teachers really love their students?
Perhaps, these teachers have good intentions. They "hate iron and don't turn into steel" and hope that every student will become a success under his own guidance, so "it is better to be kind than to have a good face". Don't you know that this has insulted students' personality and destroyed their physical and mental health? This kind of love is a kind of love that ignores personal dignity and equality, and it is a kind of abnormal love. So, how to really love every student? I think we should do the following four things:
First, love every student.
I once read an article "Sitting in the Last Row". The protagonist of the article is Joe. She is short, but because of her poor academic performance, she was placed in the last row. She is not qualified to sit in the front row or in the middle, which is the exclusive seat for top students. Joe thinks she is ugly and stupid, and no one likes to associate with her. She always hides in the corner that is not noticed, gradually forms a withdrawn character and begins to give up on herself. Fortunately, a Chinese teacher named Bai changed her fate. In a Chinese self-study class, the teacher praised her in time, which inspired the children's self-confidence. She began to study hard and won the first prize in an intelligence contest. "There are seats in the last row in the world, but there won't always be people sitting in the last row." When I read this sentence, my heart trembled. In today's materialistic world, are all teachers' love for students impartial? Love because of power, love because of family, love because of money and love because of self-interest. Is there mutual love between our teachers? For those poor students and underachievers, do we give them the same love as top students? Teachers' love for students should be pure and fair, and there should be no hypocrisy and affectation. Especially those poor teachers, we should pay more attention to them, because they are reprimanded and left out, and few students approach them. In their hearts, they are more eager to be loved by teachers and valued by others. Teachers should try to find the bright spots in them, create some opportunities to praise them and give them more warmth. Perhaps, an encouraging look and a warm word can arouse their confidence and become the starting point for their progress. Being able to love every student fairly is the embodiment of a teacher's spiritual beauty and a good teacher's moral cultivation. In front of the teacher, every student is equal, there is no distinction between high and low. Teachers should treat all students equally and let every student bathe in the sunshine of teacher's love.
Second, we should learn to tolerate students.
Among the students I taught, there was a boy named Yang Lei who later transferred to another school. It can be said that there is no merit in him. He studies in general, and he is even more afraid of bullying in class. Teachers generally ignore him as long as it doesn't affect the class. At first, I was in line with this attitude. But Yang Lei didn't obey the discipline in class because of my negligence, and we finally got into trouble. After a long time, one day in the holiday, I was shopping with a classmate, and Yang Lei came from the front. We were shocked almost at the same time. Before I knew what was going on, Yang Lei shouted "Hello, Miss Li", then smiled at me naturally and walked away. I just stood there, feeling like crying. At that moment, I felt that my mind was too narrow and I was not as good as a child. In the later days, I got along well with Yang Lei, and I was never angry because of the students' mistakes, because I found a virtue of tolerance in the students. In life, when two people have an argument, if we can consider the problem from each other's point of view and put ourselves in each other's shoes, maybe there will not be so many contradictions and frictions between people. Being broad-minded is a human virtue, especially for teachers. Our education target is a group of children, who will not haggle over their mistakes, let alone quarrel with their students. If the teacher can tolerate them and call back the good nature in the students' hearts, the students will correct their mistakes faster. In addition, the virtue of teachers' tolerance can subtly influence students and cultivate their noble moral feelings.
Third, we should not only teach, but also educate people.
A qualified teacher should not only care about students' learning, answer difficult questions raised by students and help them master scientific and cultural knowledge, but also pay attention to students' ideological trends and emotional changes, because teenagers are in a period of growth and development, psychologically immature, prone to fluctuations and easily contaminated with some bad social habits. The teacher is the guide of life, so we should do a good job of correct guidance. With the rapid development of China's economy, the material conditions of students' life are getting better and better. They have hardly experienced setbacks, their feelings are very fragile and they lack psychological endurance. In recent years, juvenile delinquency and suicide are common, and the fundamental reason is that students' psychological quality is getting worse and worse. In addition, they live in an era of complete giving, only knowing how to take, but not how to give. Faced with the selfless dedication of parents and the silent dedication of teachers, they take it for granted. Abraham maslow, a famous American psychologist, once pointed out that the ability to experience and express gratitude is an important sign of emotional health. Therefore, he believes that ingratitude is a clear sign of emotional illness. Abraham maslow's problem of attaching importance to children's ideological education cannot but attract our attention. Yes, if today's children don't know how to return, but only know how to take, then how can our society move forward! Qualified talents not only mean profound cultural knowledge, but also noble ideological quality, which requires teachers to eliminate the troubles in students' hearts in time, cultivate their optimistic spirit, teach them the truth of being a man and form good psychological quality. Teachers should not only teach, but also educate people, pay more attention to the psychological state of students, strive to complete the personality shaping of each student, and cultivate all-round high-quality talents for the motherland.
Fourth, control your emotions and set an example for students.
"Learning to be excellent is to be an official". In the eyes of students, the profession of teacher is sacred. Many students regard being a teacher in the future as their ideal career. They worship their teachers, pay attention to their words and deeds, and judge their behavior in their own unique way. We often encounter such things. When students ask us questions, we get the wrong answer, or we don't, and the students show surprise. "Is there any question that the teacher can't answer?" Yes, in the eyes of students, teachers know everything and will never fail. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to their words and deeds in front of students, keep a good image in students' minds, set an example for students, and can't vent their emotional changes on students. Some teachers are kind to students when they are in a good mood and work smoothly; When something goes wrong, or when you are in a bad mood or depressed, vent your unpleasant emotions on students and let them become their punching bag. This kind of cold and hot attitude towards students hurts their self-esteem and will lose their respect and trust over time. Teachers should learn to control their emotions and not bring them into the classroom. No matter what happens, they should try their best to smile at the students and be warm and patient with them. This also reflects a people's teacher's noble moral sentiments and a high sense of responsibility for students. The survey shows that students prefer teachers who insist on attending classes despite illness, can restrain their emotions and have a strong will. If teachers are not as good as students, they will not trust teachers, because in the eyes of students, teachers are great and noble, and they even think that teachers should be perfect, saints, without faults and never make mistakes. Students' understanding also puts forward higher requirements for teachers, who should strive to improve themselves and strengthen their moral cultivation.
