The dividing line between Huainan and Huaibei is the Qinling Huaihe River, with Huaibei in the north and Huainan in the south. Large-scale refers to the northern Huaihe River basin, including Xinyang, Zhumadian, Shangqiu, Zhoukou and Yongcheng in Henan, Xuzhou, Lianyungang and Suqian in Jiangsu. Huainan area refers to the vast area from the south of Huaihe River to the Yangtze River.
