Zhang Yu Teachers College, located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and jointly established by Jiangxi Province and Nanchang Municipal People's Government. The school's predecessor was 1908 and 19 14. 1947 was awarded as Nanchang Normal School.

1973 was awarded Nanchang Normal School. In 2004, it was upgraded to Nanchang Teachers College.
