Qingdao Art School is the only public comprehensive art secondary specialized school directly under the Education Bureau in Qingdao. It has successively won dozens of honorary titles such as National Key School, Shandong Teaching Demonstration School, Shandong Minors' Advanced Collective for Ideological and Moral Construction, Shandong Province Model School for Running Schools according to Law, Qingdao Civilized Unit Model, Qingdao Top Ten Advanced Collective for Teachers' Morality Construction, Qingdao Moral Education Advanced Collective and Qingdao Vocational Education Advanced Unit. In 2008, Qingdao Education Bureau adjusted the layout of some schools, and Qingdao Women's Secondary Vocational School and Qingdao No.13 Middle School merged into art schools. Qingdao Art School is divided into two campuses: Dandong Road and Dalian Road. The school has two levels: junior college and general (vocational) middle school. Among them, the "three-two-year continuous reading" college has music major and secretarial major; Ordinary (vocational) middle schools at the starting point of junior high school have majors such as music, art painting, clothing display and etiquette, broadcasting and program hosting, dance performance, preschool education, hairdressing, image design, etc. The starting point of primary school is general secondary school, including music major (instrumental music), dance performance major, acrobatics and magic performance major. The school has 47 full-time classes, 1600 students.
