Main problems in safety education for middle school students

1. Lack of ideological attention

Schools, teachers and parents all pay attention to students' moral, intellectual and physical development, and their understanding of safety education is not sufficient. Some school leaders think that safety education is of little significance and put more energy into school construction, while safety education is just an empty existence. At the same time, teachers' safety awareness is also relatively lacking, and the teaching of safety education is just scripted, which means that safety education has no practical guiding significance.

2. Safety education is seriously formalized.

The safety publicity and education in schools has not established a perfect system, and the formalization of safety education is too serious. Most schools have not thoroughly implemented the publicity work of safety education. They cheat. They only pay attention to superficial safety education activities to deal with the inspectors of relevant units, but don't let middle school students participate in them, or just copy them mechanically according to the safety knowledge in books, which does not have the true and effective significance of safety education, making most middle school students have a weak sense of safety, thus easily causing irreparable losses [1].

3. Lack of professional safety education personnel

At present, there is a general shortage of teachers with safety professional quality and no professional safety education teachers in schools, which greatly reduces the safety education for middle school students. Due to the lack of professional teachers in some schools, safety education courses are taught by other teachers, and teachers are rarely trained in safety education. Even some teachers think that the safety education class is completely meaningless, and the requirement is only to concentrate on learning and limit students' safety education activities.
