China Huaiyuan Garden is located in the northern administrative new area of Huaidianhui Town, shenqiu county City, Henan Province, adjacent to Shenqiu exit of Luoning Expressway and S207 provincial highway. It is a popular science education base in Henan Province, a germplasm resource base of Sophora japonica in Henan Province, a Robinia pseudoacacia research center of Henan Academy of Forestry, a postgraduate practice base of Liaocheng University and an internship base of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

There are about 20,000 varieties of Sophora japonica cultivated in China, of which 138 have DBH above 50 cm. The main scenic spots are: Zhou Xingsi Statue and Thousand-character Square, Millennium Ancient Sophora japonica Forest and Sophora japonica Germplasm Resource Base, and Sanhuatang, Huaixian Mountain, Hu Aixiang Lake, Flower Pavilion, Qixing Island, Sanhuaqiao and other 10 Sophora japonica scenic spots adjacent to Dahuaishu Park in Hongdong County, Shanxi Province.
