What conditions do foreign universities' academic degree certificates need to meet in order to be certified by the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education?
1. corresponding academic degree certificate or higher education diploma obtained by studying formal courses in foreign universities or other higher education institutions;

2. Academic degree certificates obtained by studying in Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools (projects) approved by the education administrative department of the State Council, China, and higher education diplomas obtained by Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools (projects) of higher vocational education and non-academic higher education approved by the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China and reported to the education administrative department of the State Council, China for the record;

3. The corresponding academic degree certificate or higher education diploma obtained by studying formal courses in universities or other institutions of higher education in China Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province. Bachelor's degree or above obtained from formal courses at China University of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or other institutions of higher education.

4. Certificates issued by institutions outside the following countries (regions) are temporarily out of the scope of academic degree certification:

1. Certificate of completion obtained by attending foreign language training or other informal courses (such as short-term study);

2. Research experiences and postdoctoral research certificates of trainees and visiting scholars;

3. Admission certificate issued by overseas institutions of higher learning or other institutions of higher education;

4. Foreign non-higher education diplomas, honorary titles and honorary degree certificates without corresponding study or research experience;

5. Foreign academic degree certificates or higher education diplomas issued by educational institutions (projects) that have not been approved by the relevant education administrative departments of China Municipal Government;

6. Academic degree certificates or higher education diplomas obtained through non-face-to-face learning methods such as correspondence, distance education and online education;

7. Various vocational skills or vocational qualification certificates outside the country (territory);

Foreign degree certification is to carry out the national policy of "supporting studying abroad, encouraging returning home, and coming and going freely", and meet the needs of overseas students and other overseas and foreign degree winners for further study, employment and application for research funds in China.
