Article 4 All sewage outlets (sources) and solid waste storage (disposal) places of pollutant discharge units must be equipped with corresponding graphic signs for environmental protection while carrying out standard rectification. Article 5 When examining and approving the development and construction projects, the environmental protection department must make clear the requirements for the standardized remediation of sewage outlets (sources) and the setting of environmental protection graphic signs, and take them as the necessary conditions for the completion and acceptance of environmental protection facilities. Article 6 Graphical signs of environmental protection shall be set near the pollutant discharge port (source) and eye-catching, and can be kept for a long time. It is required to set a height of 2 meters above the ground at the upper edge of the environmental protection graphic sign. Article 9 After the installation of environmental protection graphic signs, no unit or individual may dismantle, move or alter them. The State Environmental Protection Bureau issued a unified and standardized sewage outlet sign registration certificate. The registration certificate is the original record of the sewage outlet supervision and management files. Local environmental protection departments at all levels, their environmental supervision institutions and pollutant discharge units must fill in the registration certificate at the same time as required. Article 11 When the position of the sewage outlet and the types of pollutants change, the pollutant discharging unit that uses the graphic signs of environmental protection shall report to the local environmental protection department in time, and change the corresponding contents of the signs and registration certificates after approval. Users must check it frequently, and repair or replace it in time if they find that the appearance is damaged, the color is polluted, or there are changes, fading and other conditions that do not meet the standard requirements. Thirteenth environmental protection departments at all levels and their environmental supervision institutions should take the inspection of environmental protection graphic signs as an important part of daily on-site supervision and management, and organize a comprehensive inspection at least once a year.
