On August 2012 17, the Fujian provincial government named longxiang national defense education base as the second batch of national defense education bases in Fujian province (20). On September 13, the provincial government and the provincial military region jointly held the awarding ceremony of the second batch of Fujian National Defense Education Bases in Longxiang.

As a private national defense education base, Longxiang is listed as the first provincial-level national defense education base in Fuzhou and even in Fujian Province, which provides a new platform for Fuzhou to carry out national defense education and military popular science activities for primary and secondary school students and adds new content to the construction of national defense culture in Fujian.
