The original Taigu Normal School was founded in April 1949, and was formed by the merger of Jinzhong No.3 Middle School and Taigu County Middle School. The school is located in Taigu County. At the beginning of its establishment, it also occupied the Kong Xiangxi Building and the Baita Building of Wubian Temple, with primary school teachers as the main classes and advanced short-term training courses. The affiliated primary school is located in Anchan Temple. 1952 In August, the school not only recruited three-year junior teachers and short-term teachers, but also recruited post-teachers (that is, secondary teachers). The transition from primary school teachers' classes to secondary teachers' classes began. In June 5438+10, Shouyang Yushu (second) Taigu Qi (county) joint division was merged into Taigu Normal University. 1September, 954, the joint division of Ping (Yao) boundary (Hugh) ridge (Stone) merged again. The school was renamed "Taigu Normal School in Shanxi Province" as "Taigu Normal School in Shanxi Province". 1959, the school only recruits middle school teachers and students, completing the transition from primary school teachers to middle school teachers. 1966 After the Cultural Revolution began, enrollment was interrupted. 1967 the school-run teaching auxiliary factory was taken over by Shanxi teaching instrument supply station. 1970 the affiliated primary school was decentralized to Taigu county. In July, 197 1, the school resumed enrollment. 1973 65438+February, Taigu Normal Primary School resumed classes. In the early 1990s, remarkable achievements were made in the standardization construction of the school, which was highly praised by the provincial education commission. Taigu Normal School was identified as a "window school" for Shanxi Normal School to open to the outside world. In 2002, the school began to recruit junior college students with "3+2" academic system, majoring in arts, science, English, computer and music. The school has entered a transition period from normal school to junior college. In order to successfully complete the transition, the new leadership of the school has innovated the concept of running a school and set the goal of "three centers". In September, the school carried out campus culture construction activities with great fanfare, and put forward five campus creation activities: green campus, humanistic campus, honest campus, science and technology campus and digital campus. The "White Pagoda Forum" and "Primary Education Newsletter" were founded, and student associations flourished. In 2003 1 month, the statue of Mr. Tao Xingzhi, People's Pedagogy, was completed. In April 2004, it signed a cooperation agreement with Beijing Normal University, and the school became the "Education Experimental Base of the School of Education of Beijing Normal University". In May, the school was renamed as "Jinzhong Teachers College Taigu Branch". In May 2005, the school was renamed as "Taigu Normal Branch of Jinzhong University". In the course of running a school for more than half a century, it has trained and transported more than 30 thousand graduates for the country.
The former Taihang Normal School is located in Zuoquan County, the hinterland of Taihang. The school was founded on 1985, and 1989 began to recruit students. 1990 was designated as China-UNICEF 1990- 1994 cooperative primary school teacher training project school, and 19 1 year was run by the state education commission. 1992 The Education Committee of Jinzhong Administrative Office held the on-site meeting on logistics management of Jinzhong secondary specialized school. In May, 1999, CCTV Heart to Heart organized students to perform in Matian. In September 2006, the construction of the new school achieved initial results, some buildings were put into use, and nearly 2,000 freshmen and sophomores of 2006 in Taigu Campus moved into the new school. From June 5438 to October 2007 10, all the teachers, students and property of Taigu and Taihang moved into the new school, and the two schools merged substantially.
At the end of June, 5438+February, 2009, it passed the inspection and evaluation by the expert group of the National Evaluation Committee for the Establishment of Colleges and Universities.
