How to draw a sketch of a person's nose
The steps of sketching a character's nose are as follows:

Tools: Ordinary drawing pencils: HB, 2B, 6B, 8B drawing pens, napkins, plastic erasers, ordinary sketch paper.

1, find the center point, quickly draw the outline of the nose and the dividing line between light and shade of the nose with 2B drawing pen, and use the drawing pen to color the non-illuminated surface to distinguish the bright surface, dark surface and gray surface. Shows the general shape of the nose and the relationship between light and shade. Note: the lines need to be affirmed. Don't paint too many details. Find the boundary between light and shade and keep the highlights.

2. Arrange the dark side of the nose along the structure of the nose with 8B drawing pen to deepen the tone of the dark side. The highlight of the nose is left blank and ignored. After the dark side is treated, wipe the dark side with a napkin and slowly transition to the gray side, so that the sense of space and volume of the nose can be immediately expressed. Note: Don't draw the dark parts to death, have a sense of breathability (refer to the nose structure diagram), and the nose structure should be clear.

3. Carefully describe the dark side of the nose, rearrange the lines of the previous dark side with 6B drawing pen, and then slowly transition to the gray side. Wipe it with a napkin after treatment to strengthen the relationship between the gray surface and the dark surface. Use HB drawing pen to arrange the lines on the bright surface next to the bright surface, and use HB drawing pen to simply outline the highlights.

Extended data:

People's five senses are divided into five facial organs: mouth, eyes, nose, eyebrows and ears. In the process of portrait sketch painting, the painting performance of these five organs is also the quality of the work. When we start painting a work, we need to know the structure of the object to be painted, so that we can know what the structure of the object is in detail, which can make us express it more quickly.

When the nose is portrayed, it is different because of gender differences. The male nose is relatively straight and the structural transition is obvious. The nose is wide, big and square, and the shape of the nose wing is hard and square. The nasolabial groove is obvious. In the depiction, the lines are square and straight to reflect the compactness of muscles and the blocking feeling of the nose.

Women's noses are more delicate, rounded, with little fluctuation and soft turning. The nose is round and the alar is small and round. When depicting, the lines are soft and delicate, and the transition between light and shade is soft.
