Gansu University of Political Science and Law, located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is an ordinary undergraduate political science and law college in Gansu Province. Relying on China University of Political Science and Law, Gansu University was selected as one of the first batch of national excellent legal talents education and training bases, the second batch of national practical education, innovation and entrepreneurship education bases, the national pilot college of political and legal police recruitment system reform, and the national "Hundred Schools Project" construction college. It is a member of the "Li Ge Alliance" of national political and legal colleges.

The school was founded in 1956 as a cadre school of politics and law in Gansu Province, which was later merged and changed places several times. It has gone through several stages, such as Gansu Administrative Cadre School, Beiwan May 7th Cadre School, and reconstruction of Gansu Political and Legal Cadre Training School. 1982, Gansu Political and Legal Cadre Training School was officially moved from Beiwan, Jingyuan County to its current site. 1984, Gansu University of Political Science and Law was established to offer general higher education; In 2004, Gansu National Defense Science and Technology Industrial School was merged into Gansu University of Political Science and Law; 2065438+In June 2009, it was renamed Gansu University of Political Science and Law.
