This year, Jingming Primary School was awarded the title of "Core School of Popular Science Education Consortium" with the establishment of education consortium and the promotion of education reform in the county. "Space Seeds" Inspire Scientific Dreams

As early as 20 17, Jingming primary school made small achievements in popular science education, and was awarded a package of space seeds by Hubei Association for Science and Technology after many efforts. The school also integrates planting courses with science, art, Chinese and other disciplines. Children read, draw and write seeds to stimulate their dreams of science, space flight and innovation. The seed courses developed by the school have been rated as "Top Ten Excellent Courses" in the national new education, and the seed museum of the school has become a "popular science education base for young people" at the city and county levels.

Five actions to improve scientific literacy

The power of faith, gathered and fermented in Jingming Primary School, evolved into a series of actions to promote popular science education.

The school has set up a scientific laboratory, an intellectual property room, a scientific and technological innovation room, a seed museum, a meteorological science museum, a campus science popularization meteorological station and a scientific experience education practice base to carry out the position construction action. After scientific investigation, the student's work "Investigation on the Present Situation and Disposal of Rural Garbage in Counties" won the first prize at the provincial level and the third prize at the national level. The model of "household classification, village collection, town transfer and county treatment" of rural garbage was adopted and popularized by the county government. In summer, I conducted a classified survey of municipal waste in Fuzhou, and competed with children from urban and rural areas all over the country, and won the first prize of the national scientific survey.

Participate in actions to improve the scientific quality of the whole people. Science popularization association spreads scientific "seeds"

A seed can grow into a towering tree; One side is fertile soil, which can produce various colors.

For many years, Jingming primary school has been implementing the "open school" model. Hire four science and technology counselors to establish an expert studio; Sun, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, made a special trip to Beijing to give a wonderful report on popular science. In the Orchid Expo Park near the school, there is also a research base set up by the school.

Deeply ploughing the fertile soil of popular science, Jingming Primary School has formed a good demonstration effect. Since the beginning of this spring, the science associations and education departments in Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi, Guizhou and other places have invited teachers from this school to teach, and more than 10,000 teachers and students from 32 counties and cities in 9 provinces have come to observe and study.

How to amplify the "seed effect"? In March this year, Suixian established the Suixian Science Education Consortium with Jingming Primary School as the core to promote the sharing, interaction and common progress of science education resources among schools. At the same time, there are 18 integrated education associations and 9 co-construction education associations covering the whole county.

The mission is on the shoulder.
