The importance of family education:

Family is the place where children receive education at the earliest, and parents are the teachers who receive education at the earliest. Family education plays a fundamental role in children's growth. Suhomlinski, a famous educator in the former Soviet Union, once stressed: "Neither school education without family education nor family education without school education can accomplish the extremely detailed and complicated task of cultivating people."

It can be seen that family education is indispensable in the process of children's growth. UNESCO proposed that teenagers in the 2nd/kloc-0th century should have "four societies", namely, learning to learn, learning to survive, learning to develop and learning to get along with others. Children are the flowers of the motherland and the endless reserve army of the nation.

Froebel said: "The fate of a country is not so much in the hands of those in power as in the hands of mothers." This sentence vividly shows that family education is very important. Parents should establish an overall concept and let their children understand that "every man is responsible for the rise and fall of the country."

The significance of family education:

Throughout the history of human civilization, what has never changed is that parents are children's first teachers and lifelong teachers. Family is a person's first class and a lifelong school. The national education platform is supported by three pillars: family education, school education and social education. Modern school education and social education are supported by legal norms, scientific guidance and modern technology.

However, family education is almost still in the primitive state of nature, lacking scientific guidance and ignoring or even contradicting the role of modern technology. As children grow older, their world outlook and values are constantly improving.

Children will come out of the ivory tower built by their parents and get in touch with the more complicated world outside. The truth, goodness, beauty, falsehood and ugliness in society will also bring more intuitive feelings to children. Children's minds are immature, so family education is particularly important.
