National Defense Education Day is the third Saturday in September every year. 2001August 3 1 day, the 23rd meeting of the 9th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) decided to establish a national defense education day, and the third Saturday of September every year was designated as the national defense education day. This is the first theme festival in China that clearly stipulates national defense education in legal form. According to this decision, September 2006 1 day was the first national defense education day.
