Dongcheng Experimental School of Hangzhou Normal University is a nine-year public school. It is one of the subordinate schools of Dongcheng Education Group of Hangzhou Normal University, directly under the management of Jianggan District Education Bureau. Formerly known as Hangzhou Jiubao Central Primary School, it was founded in 193 1 and renamed in 2009. The school has a long history, profound knowledge and talented people, which is the cradle of students' growth.

Located on the bank of Qiantang River, it is an advanced health unit in Hangzhou, a demonstration school in Hangzhou, a health promotion school of the World Health Organization, a national experimental base for formative education, an animation experimental school of Hangzhou Normal University and a window school for opening to the outside world in Zhejiang Province.

At present, the school is carrying out international cooperation in running schools. In 2009, we received an education delegation from Gerstak, teachers from troup School in New Haven, Connecticut, and professors from Northeastern University, and initially established sister school relations.
