Xianyang Vocational and Technical College has 460 nursing majors, 440.5 preschool education, 483.5 primary education, 439.5 other majors, 382 social sports and 369.5 landscape technology. Xianyang Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1937. In 2004, it was approved by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is formed by the merger of Ganxian Normal School, Binxian Normal School, Yizhi Agricultural School and Xianyang Sports School, Health School and Technical School. It is the only full-time public university directly under the Xianyang Municipal People's Government.
