The state stipulates which unified examination subjects to apply for in the undergraduate stage of online education.
"Unified examination" refers to the national unified examination conducted by the Ministry of Education for some public basic courses of online education in pilot universities of modern distance education, that is, the national unified examination for some public basic courses of online higher education in China. It includes two courses: College English and Computer Application Foundation. Unified examination subjects are determined according to different academic starting points and professional categories. However, online education will not conduct a unified examination for students with junior high school and postgraduate education level for the time being.

Can the unified examination for online education be exempted?

Candidates who meet the following conditions can be exempted from the examination: they have a certificate of computer examination level 1 or above, and can be exempted from the examination of computer application foundation. You can be exempted from college English if you have a certificate of Grade 3 or above in the public English examination system. If you meet these two conditions at the same time, you can be exempted from taking the exam, and you can be exempted from taking the English exam if you are over 40 years old. However, if the candidate is a computer major, the computer exam cannot be exempted.

In addition, I would like to remind all candidates that when registering for online education, they should always pay attention to the latest news of the institutions they have tested. The specific matters shall be subject to the institutions to be tested.
