The Education Department of Shandong Province and the Working Committee of Colleges and Universities of Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China are co-located, implementing the national education policies, drafting local laws and regulations on education, formulating the province's education reform and development strategy, education career development plan and annual plan, formulating policies on education system reform, and being responsible for guiding, coordinating and supervising the implementation. The main responsibilities of Shandong Provincial Department of Education:

1, implement the laws, regulations, principles and policies on education and the decision-making arrangements of the central and provincial committees on education, and be responsible for drafting relevant local regulations; To formulate policies, plans and organize the implementation of education reform and development in the whole province; Responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information.
