According to the understanding of the psychological state of middle school students in the process of zero-distance contact with students, this paper expounds the psychological phenomenon of "learning burnout" which is common among contemporary middle school students. This paper analyzes the pressure from family, society and school, and puts forward some countermeasures to transform middle school students' "learning burnout" psychology.

I. Investigation

In September of xxxx, I made a survey on the learning psychology of students in xx middle school. Through investigation and study, the learning psychology of middle school students is preliminarily understood, which provides an objective basis for accurately grasping the current learning psychology trends of middle school students, deepening teaching reform, enhancing the pertinence of education and teaching, improving the effectiveness of education and teaching, and exploring new ways to implement quality education.

Second, the specific objectives and methods of the investigation

(1) Specific objectives

1. Investigate the learning psychology of middle school students.

2. Investigate the psychological characteristics of middle school students at present.

3. Study the causes and countermeasures of middle school students' learning psychology.

(2) survey methods

The student questionnaire covers four aspects: educational values, learning attitude, learning needs and learning goals. The questionnaire survey was conducted among students in Xianxiang Middle School. A total of 80 questionnaires were sent out, and 75 valid questionnaires were recovered, which was close to the ideal and efficient sample size.

Third, the survey results.

According to the analysis of students' questionnaires, the learning psychology of middle school students has obvious characteristics of the times.

(A) Analysis of the current situation of middle school students' learning psychology

1, educational values

The survey shows that most middle school students have clear educational values. 7 1% students think that the function of learning is to enter the university, 16% students think that the function of learning is to improve their own quality, 8% middle school students do not consider it, and 5% students are forced by their families. The survey also shows that the educational values of middle school students have significant economic and social characteristics. They think that the economic income of young people is directly proportional to their education level, among which 65% students think that college students earn more money, 25% students think that high school graduates earn more money, and 10% students think that junior high school graduates earn more money.

2. Learning attitude

The survey results show that 67% of students have a high enthusiasm for learning, 24% have a moderate enthusiasm for learning, and 9% are afraid of learning. This is consistent with the weakening of their consciousness of "going to college". It is worth noting that the number of students who are afraid of learning accounts for a considerable share. Moreover, we also found in the survey that 90% of students have their own "most annoying courses". The fundamental reasons why students are afraid to learn or hate some courses are: First, they are closely related to teachers' teaching methods; Second, it is closely related to the practical value of the course. The survey results show that 86% of the students are enthusiastic about Chinese, mathematics, physics and chemistry, which are closely related to real life and practicality, and are not interested in history, geography and English, which are highly academic. Among the courses that students hate, English is one of the core courses in junior high school, and 45% of students think that "English is almost useless for our future life".

3. Learning needs

At present, "major" is a hot topic of common concern for teachers and students. In the survey, we found that most students have a correct understanding of "major", among which 92% students have their own interests, and 52% students hope to get guidance from teachers. At the same time, 78% students want to learn practical scientific and technological knowledge, which will help them in their future life and work.

4. Learning purpose

The survey results show that 99% students have the desire to go to college after graduating from high school.

(B) the current psychological characteristics of middle school students.

The survey shows that the learning psychology of middle school students is obviously different from that of previous middle school students.

1. Educational values tend to be diversified, pragmatic and utilitarian.

Most of them have realized that the important value of education lies in helping them improve their comprehensive quality, enabling them to master the basic cultural and scientific knowledge needed for survival and life, thus enhancing their competitiveness in the future society. However, due to the limitation of age and knowledge, middle school students' cognitive, analytical and judgment abilities are neither mature nor stable. In fact, quite a few middle school students are confused about their educational values.

2. Vertical multi-level and horizontal multi-objective learning needs.

In the investigation, we found that the learning needs of middle school students have the characteristics of vertical multi-level and horizontal multi-objective due to the differences in personal learning foundation, educational values and expectations for the future.

The purpose of learning is clear, but it is subjective and uncoordinated.

According to the questionnaire survey of students, 89% students have a clear learning purpose. However, through the comparative analysis of questionnaires and the investigation of students themselves, I found that students' learning objectives are seriously subjective and uncoordinated. The subjectivity of students' learning purpose is manifested in their awareness of the difficulty of entering cities for employment in the future. In addition, 40% students hope to succeed in their future career. The disharmony of students' learning purpose is mainly manifested in the disharmony between thought and action. The survey results show that among the 37% students who are about to enter the university, quite a few people do not show corresponding enthusiasm in their studies, but show a passive waiting attitude.

(3) Analysis of survey results

1. An analysis of the causes of current middle school students' learning psychology;

① Family and society play an important role in the formation of middle school students' learning needs.

Middle school students are influenced by family demands, attitudes and ambitions. Secondly, social atmosphere and ideology also affect the learning needs of middle school students. For example, at present, the economic system is in transition, the reform of higher education is deepening, and incentive fees are implemented to go to school, and college graduates are not distributed. This reality has caused many people to have "what's the use of reading?" It costs a lot of money and there is no job after graduation. " The new concept of "reading is useless" has begun to rise again in society, which will directly lead to the reduction of middle school students' learning needs. In addition, some people regard learning and reading as "tools" and a means to achieve another goal, while learning itself has not become an end. Therefore, when learning fails to achieve a certain goal, its enthusiasm disappears.

② Low interest in learning:

(1) External causes: the school education method is not in place, such as the monotonous teaching method of teachers and the heavy homework of various subjects. The pressure of further education is high; Tension between teachers and students; Family factors: strict requirements due to high expectations of parents; Family interpersonal relationship is indifferent; Indulge in rich material comforts; Get into bad habits of parents, such as gambling.

(2) Internal cause: reversal of value orientation; The purpose of learning is vague; Poor academic performance; Emotional instability; Weak will, etc.

2. Countermeasures to form a healthy learning psychology:

(1) Education for the purpose of learning

First of all, we should proceed from the reality of middle school students and adopt vivid forms suitable for their psychological development characteristics to help them correctly understand the social significance of learning.

Secondly, we should emphasize the intrinsic meaning of learning, that is, the value of learning to individuals themselves, so that they can realize that learning is a pleasant enjoyment, not a burden.

Third, help middle school students set specific and appropriate learning goals. Learning purpose education should not only make middle school students have lofty goals, but also combine such lofty goals with concrete and feasible goals, so that students can achieve lofty learning goals in a down-to-earth manner.

Fourthly, due to subjective and objective reasons, some middle school students and their parents have neither comprehensive nor in-depth understanding of the development of national market economy, the reform of higher education and the implementation of quality education. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce them to the brilliant achievements, existing difficulties and bright prospects of the development of the national market economy in the form of special reports; Introduce them to the rationality and scientificity of the enrollment system, the fairness and protection of the charging system and the flexibility and impartiality of the distribution system in the reform of higher education; Introduce them to the specific content, value and future orientation of implementing quality education, and help them eliminate misleading.

② Timely feedback and proper evaluation.

Let students know their learning achievements in time, which can stimulate their motivation for further study. In order to make full use of the promotion of feedback, we should further evaluate the learning results of middle school students. When using the evaluation, you should pay attention to:

First of all, we should make middle school students have a correct attitude towards evaluation.

Second, adhere to the principle of positive education, give priority to praise, be objective and fair, and make middle school students completely convinced.

Third, we should not only look at the scores of middle school students with unsatisfactory test scores, but also find advantages from different levels of their various learning links, give praise and encouragement, let them see their progress and enhance their self-confidence.

Fourth, pay attention to the psychological development level and individual psychological characteristics of middle school students. Praise method is often used for junior high school students; High school students should be appropriate, and it is best to praise or criticize through collective public opinion, and the effect will be better;

Fifth, pay attention to the harmony between teachers and students. Only by respecting middle school students can teachers give appropriate praise or criticism. Only by respecting teachers can middle school students notice teachers' praise or criticism.

③ Scientific application of rewards and punishments.

Reward has the power to promote activities and is an external incentive factor, such as scores, grades, bonuses, prizes and so on. Reward is a means. If it is used too much, it may lose its effectiveness and even have disadvantages. The purpose of reward is to arouse students' learning enthusiasm, and middle school students should not be made slaves of material or money, otherwise once the reward is cancelled, middle school students will no longer study hard. From the point of view of mental health, we should pay attention to reward rather than punishment, because it can weaken the fear of failure. But we can't deny the necessity and effectiveness of punishment in stimulating learning motivation. In school, the purpose of punishment is to overcome inattention, procrastination, laziness and lack of effort in learning, thus promoting learning. However, we must be careful when using it. Excessive use may cause a very high level of anxiety.
