What are party member's rights?
Party member's rights are stipulated by party constitution, and party member should enjoy all the rights within the Party.

Within the Party, every party member is equal and has equal rights to jointly manage the Party's affairs. Party member's rights are stipulated by party constitution, and party member should enjoy all the rights within the Party.

Party member enjoys the following rights:

1. Attend relevant Party meetings, read relevant Party documents, and receive Party education and training.

2. Participate in discussing the Party's policies at Party meetings and in Party newspapers and magazines.

3. Put forward suggestions and initiatives on the work of the Party.

4. Criticize any party organization and any party member at the party meeting, expose and report to the party the fact that any party organization and any party member violate the law and discipline responsibly, demand that party member who violates the law and discipline be punished, and demand that incompetent cadres be replaced.

5. Exercise the right to vote, stand for election and stand for election.

6. When the Party organization discusses and decides to punish or appraise party member, I have the right to participate in and defend him, and other party member can testify and defend him.

Existing rights in party member

202 1 1 4. The newly revised Regulations on the Protection of Rights in China and party member were published in full. This is the second time that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has revised the Ordinance since it was revised in 2004.

The revised regulations include 5 chapters and 52 articles. On the basis of following, inheriting and adhering to the party constitution-based regulations still applicable in 2004, the revised regulations focus on perfection, stipulating the specific rights of party member, how to exercise them and how to guarantee the exercise of party member's rights. Party member is clearly entitled to 13.

As the fundamental follow-up to the formulation of regulations, the party constitution Principles stipulate eight rights enjoyed by party member. In the second chapter of the revised regulations, party member's rights are specified, and eight aspects of party member's rights stipulated by party constitution are further clarified by 13.

Namely: the right to know, the right to accept the Party's education and training, the right to participate in discussions, the right to put forward suggestions and initiatives, the right to supervise, the right to demand recall, the right to vote, the right to vote and stand for election, defend oneself, the right to put forward different opinions, the right to claim, the right to appeal and the right to accuse.
