What is the significance of the educational reform pilot of the Ministry of Education?
The name begins with 1998. At that time, the Ministry of Education, in view of the fact that despite the repeated enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, there are still many students who can't reach the college admission score or reach the self-funded line for various reasons every year and can't afford expensive sponsorship fees, thus losing the opportunity to receive higher education. Therefore, regulations were issued to allow a few key universities directly under the Ministry of Education in some provinces and cities to recruit some students below the college admission scores. According to the regular undergraduate students, it is also cultivated in this way. Students who have passed four years' study and passed all subjects' examinations also receive undergraduate diplomas. This form of running a school adopts the same full-time training mode as ordinary undergraduates, so it is called "full-time undergraduate student aid pilot class", referred to as "undergraduate pilot class". That is to say, using the abundant faculty, strong academic atmosphere, scientific research and experimental conditions and full-time teaching in colleges and universities, the standardized form of running a school is "wide, strict and excellent". After graduation, students can not only get a four-year undergraduate diploma from Wuhan University, but also get a bachelor's degree from Wuhan University and the corresponding national vocational qualification certificate.
