WLSA Xinzhuyuan International Understanding Education Experimental Project (ITP) is a junior high school bilingual integration course jointly established by the World Famous Schools Association (WLSA) and Shanghai private Xinzhuyuan Middle School. This project was approved in May 20 14, aiming at developing general junior high school education.
Through the cultivation of learning and innovation skills, information media and technical skills, life and vocational skills, students' comprehensive ability will be comprehensively improved, international understanding education and cross-cultural exchanges will be strengthened, and leading talents with China feelings and international vision will be cultivated.
Educational philosophy:
The project is based on local conditions, looks at the world, and practices the holistic education concept of "integrating Chinese and Western cultures and learning from others". Focusing on the cultivation of students' skills in the 2 1 century, this project focuses on "one core" and "three qualities" to cultivate a series of important knowledge, skills, habits and character that students need to participate in social study, life and work in the future.
"One core" is the core discipline and the theme of 2 1 century, including Chinese, foreign languages, mathematics, science, humanities, art and so on. On the basis of core subjects, the interdisciplinary education themes of 2 1 century are integrated, such as global vision, environmental awareness, financial literacy, health awareness and so on.
