English teaching content should include the local culture, folk customs and national characteristics of English-speaking countries. Through language, we should also let students know about the local culture and folk customs contained in the language, which can enhance their ability to understand and use English.

Diversified teaching materials

In order to let students really integrate into the English environment and learn authentic English instead of Chinglish, we should reflect more Chinese and foreign history, local food, local scenery, traditional festivals, cultural customs and so on in the teaching materials. Through various reading materials, multimedia, comics and other media as a supplement to the teaching materials, help the spread of English culture.
