He said: compassion is the purpose of benevolence; The heart of shame and evil, the end of righteousness; The words of the heart are the end of the ceremony; The heart of right and wrong is also the end of wisdom. The so-called "end" refers to the beginning or reason of things. People's four psychological tendencies of sadness, shame, resignation and right and wrong are precisely the starting point or possibility of benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom. May not be equal to reality. To turn the "Four Ends" into a realistic moral quality, we need to rely on learning and education = the so-called "there is no other learning method, just ask them to rest assured". Therefore, Monk believes that the function of education is to guide people to preserve, restore and expand their inner goodness. Without education, don't say that people are good. People are almost like animals. Monk's "dying well" is only a possibility for human beings, and it will become a reality. It relies on the joint action of education, material living conditions, social environment and many other factors to promote the inherent "happy ending" growth of human beings.
